Word of Welcome

The Local Organizing Committee is extremely happy, after a period of 26 years, to be hosting once again the Annual Meeting of the European Thyroid Association (ETA), specifically, the 46th AM, this year in Athens, Greece, on 7-10 September 2024. The venue will be the Athens Conservatory (in Greek: Ωδείον Αθηνών = literally, Athens Odeum) located in the heart of Greece’s capital city. The Conservatory, the first and most important institution for performing arts in Greece founded in 1871, is today housed in an impressive new Bauhaus building completed in 2017.

The ETA Executive Committee in collaboration with the Educational Board is drawing up a fantastic scientific program covering many topical issues of clinical and research thyroidology.

We are greatly looking forward to welcoming you here in Athens, in this fascinatingly ancient but also surprisingly modern and richly multicultural city for what is sure to be an amazing and highly educational Annual Meeting.
